Berkshire has been the scene of many battles. Berkshire battles include the Battle of Englefield, the Battle of Ashdown and the Battle of Reading. During the English Civil War there were two Berkshire battles in Newbury. During the Glorious Revolution of 1688, there was a second Berkshire Battle at Reading, also known as the "Battle of Broad Street".

M3 Exit Junction 3 and take the A322 Bagshot Road to Bracknell Town Centre and onto The Ring. M25 If travelling northwards exit junction 12 and follow M3 westwards. If travelling southwards exit junction 15 and follow M4 westwards.Parking The Charles Square Multistorey car park is sign posted off The Ring with a walkway directly through to the hotel. The turning immediately after the car park signposted Grange Bracknell Hotel and High View House will take you directly to the hotel s main entrance.Parking is complimentry for hotel patrons
